The Arkansas Medical Marijuana Commission has asked the Attorney General’s office to replace the Alcohol Beverage Control Division in giving legal advice.

Communication issues have been cited in the past between ABC and the Medical Marijuana Commission, as well as concerns of ABC’s work with the cultivation license applications.
On Thursday of last week, the Medical Marijuana Commission finalized a deal with an out of state firm to grade medical marijuana dispensary licenses. 32 are expected within the next month, with the first sales of medical marijuana expected to be made in early 2019.
