Run-Off in Little Rock Mayor’s Race

Election Day has come and gone but the race for Mayor in Little Rock continues. No candidate received more than 40 percent of the vote on November 6 so the top two candidates, Frank Scott Jr. and Baker Kurrus, will continue to campaign.

The election will be held on December 4. With 100% of the precincts reporting, Scott received 37 percent of the vote, or 25,075 votes. Kurrus, the next top contender, received 29 percent, or 19,619 votes.

The previous mayor of Little Rock, Mark Stodola, held the position for 12 years.
