During a traffic stop, an illegal immigrant opened his door and fired on the deputy. Dashcam footage released by Washington County’s sheriff’s office captured the shootout.

No one was seriously injured during the shootout.

The incident occurred on Sunday at noon in Tontitown, near Fayetteville. County Corporal Brett Thompson attempted to pull over Luis Cobos-Cenobio for a traffic violation, when Cobos-Cenobio didn’t stop. After a brief chase, Cobos-Cenobio came to a stop and  began the shootout.

Video footage shows the front of Thompson’s vehicle sprayed with bullet holes.

Luis Cobos-Cenobio, 29, drove off following the shooting, but was later arrested on charges of attempted capital murder, committing a terroristic act, fleeing and drug violations. According to Fox News, Cobos-Cenobio has been jailed on $500,000 bond, and has a detainer placed on him by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Cobos-Cenobio was treated at the hospital for a shoulder wound.
