An Arkansas circuit court judge in eastern Arkansas was attacked by a defendant in a courtroom. The judge suffered minor injuries.
Tuesday morning, Circuit Judge Richard Proctor was attacked by Monjobius Clark, 23. Authorities do not know what prompted the attack.
Several deputies had to step in to stop the attack. The judge sustained bruises and an injury to the lip. The judge was treated by paramedics. The defendant had been booked the day prior for aggravated assault on a certified law enforcement officer or an employee of a correctional facility.
