The bodyguard of rapper has been served jail time by a federal judge following a gunfight at a Little Rock nightclub.
The bodyguard, Kentrell Gwynn, was found guilty of transferring a firearm to a felon after handing off a weapon to Ricky Hampton, the rapper.
Gwynn was sentenced to 18 months plus two years of supervised release. Gwynn will still face 10 aggravated assault charges, stemming from the nightclub shooting.
Ricky Hampton was sentenced to five years in federal prison and will also face a state trial.
Two dozen people were injured in the shooting at Power Ultra Lounge on July 1, 2017.
