State Rep. Dan Sullivan appeared on Conduit News Radio on Monday, Jan. 28 to discuss free speech on college campuses.
“People need to realize that there are Arkansas legislators right now crafting language about abortion, about free speech, about the second amendment that would limit our God given rights and let government supersede those,” stated Rep. Dan Sullivan. “People need to stand up for their rights.”
Rep. Sullivan along with several other legislators are filing a bill this week to eliminate “free-speech” zones on college campuses. This is an effort to protect the freedom of speech for students as well as protect student organizations that the administration might fundamentally disagree with, like religious organizations.
