Rep. Julie Mayberry (R – Hensley) has filed legislation to fund highways without raising taxes. The bill will be competing with two tax increase measures to fund roads with over $400 million in new revenue. Mayberry’s legislation would direct sales taxes already collected from the purchase of new and used vehicles to go towards roads funding. Rep.
