Republican County Committee Passes Resolution Opposing RPA Exec Cmte Decision

The Baxter County Republican Committee passed a Resolution at their regular monthly meeting to affirm the results of the 2024 RPA State Convention.

The resolution says in part:

“The Baxter County Republican Committee affirms its commitment to upholding the Rules of the RPA, which necessitates a complete rejection of the illegal State Executive Committee vote taken on July 25th to void the business of the 2024 RPA State Convention…”

Baxter County Republican Committee members also state that their county

will continue to operate according to RPA Rules, as amended at the 2024 RPA State Convention; and… The Baxter County Republican Committee hereby calls on the State Executive Committee to embrace unity within the Republican Party of Arkansas by executing the duties of their elected offices under RPA Rules – by conveying the 2024 RPA State Convention delegate list to the Convention Secretary, and publishing the RPA Platform and Rules as amended at that convention.”
