Lame Duck Session On Hate Crimes?

Rumors are flying Governor Asa Hutchinson wants to call a special session sometime after the election and before the end of the year. What is it that is so urgent that a lame duck legislature needs to meet before the new legislature begins meeting in January? Rumors say he wants to pass a hate crimes bill in a special session. Perhaps because in a special session there would be very little time for legislators to debate the issue or consider revisions to the bill. The rumors have co…

Abe and Oil

Last night, President Donald Trump and Former Vice President Joe Biden went head to head in the last Presidential debate before the election. This debate was much more civil than the last and the moderator was too. There was a lot riding on this debate and both candidates desperately needed to perform. The American people needed answers to some major questions and boy did they get some. Former Vice President Joe Biden lost himself the election last night!  Although Joe was mu…

The Final Countdown

Tonight, is the final Presidential debate before one of the most important elections in history. The pressure is on for these candidates, not only to perform respectfully and win over undecided voters, but to get answers for the American people.   The debate topics for this debate should be foreign policy, economy, health insurance, and all the normal political topics that would normally be brought up. Tonight, is different. The topics have been changed last minute a…

Hot Mess Express

Hunter Biden has been used as a pawn to funnel in funds for the Biden family for 30 years, per his text message to a family member. The recent release of a small portion of incriminating evidence by the New York Post from Hunter’s hard drive is a bombshell at the very least. The evidence includes proof of corruption with other countries, proof that Joe Biden knew, was involved, and received money, drug use, a sex tape that could involve a minor, and child pornography.   The e-m…

ISSUE 1 in a nutshell

ISSUE 1 proposes a new tax for highways and roads. The new sales tax will be one half percent (0.50%). If passed it will go into effect after a temporary tax and bond issue for four lane projects expires in 2022. The tax in Issue 1 will go into the Arkansas Constitution and will be permanent. Issue 1 is a bad idea. Arkansas taxes are too high. Even if you are for more tax money for highways, Issue 1 is NOT the way to do it! Plus, ….. putting any tax in the Arkansas Constitution is a terrible i…

2 Townhalls, 1 Agenda

Last night’s town halls were a perfect example of the different treatment each candidate receives. President Donald Trump was getting screamed at and talked over and argued with by his moderator, Savannah Guthrie.  Former Vice President Joe Biden had a laid-back and relaxed conversation with George Stephanopoulos.   Many news outlets are losing their minds over President Trump not denouncing the very popular Qanon “conspiracy theory.” He…

Senators clash at Barrett confirmation hearing

Amy Coney Barrett is a done deal. Democrats called on Americans to flood the phones of their Senate offices on Tuesday to express their disdain for Amy and the confirmation just days before the election but the phones never rang. Since the Democrats legitimately have nothing negative on Judge Barrett, they have resorted to their usual use of disinformation. The questions put forth Wednesday were an embarrassment to the judicial system. It seems that the Democrat strategy i…

State Ballot Issues – Not a Good One Among Them

Your ballot will have three proposed amendments to the Arkansas Constitution submitted by the Arkansas legislature. While we oppose two of them, the other one is just not worth a “Yes” vote. The bad ones? Issue 1 imposes a tax and Issue 3 makes too many changes to how the people propose ballot initiatives, An the one not worth your time? Issue 2 changes term limits for legislators. The proposal is known to be deceptive, but does it strengthen or weaken term limits? Depends on who y…

Pence, Fly, Harris

In that order, Vice President Pence, won the debate. In second place, the fly. And in third and last place, Senator and Vice Presidential candidate, Kamala Harris. This debate was much more civilized than the last. Both candidates were much more respectful to each other and the moderator was as well. The moderator’s questions were not great but she handled the candidates much better than Chris Wallace and much more fairly. The strategy for Vice President Pence was to s…
