Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson joined NBC’s Chuck Todd on Sunday’s “Meet the Press” for an exclusive interview on Biden’s vaccine mandate. Hutchinson joins a growing list of red state governors who plan to challenge the White House new vaccine regulations.
During the interview, Hutchinson said the President’s actions regarding a mandate hardens the resistance, and it will increase the divide.
Governor Hutchinson went on to say:
“This is unprecedented assumption of federal mandate authority that really disrupts and divides the country. It divides the partnership between federal government and the states, and it increases the division in terms of vaccination when we should all be together trying to increase the vaccination uptake.”
While we don’t always agree with the Governor, he’s right about one thing… The overreach of authority by the Biden administration will certainly be met with resistance. Arkansans will dig in and fight these unconstitutional mandates. Enough is enough.
