Proposals to Declare Washington & Benton Counties Pro-Life

Washington County Justice of the Peace Patrick Deakins has submitted a resolution to the Washington County Quorum Court to declare Washington County a Pro-Life County.

Brave and hard work by our State Legislature has put Arkansas at the top of states in the nation to protect the unborn. At a local level, we need to do our part to support these efforts and send a clear message of our dedication to promote the sanctity of life.

Recently, it has been appalling to watch on a national level leaders who cannot muster the words to agree that a 15-week-old baby in the womb is a human being. That’s a clear sign there is more work to be done.

This resolution will first be heard in the County Services subcommittee on Monday, June 28.

We urge you to support this resolution by reaching out to the Washington County JPs to voice your support. Contact your elected officials by sending an email now: alljps@washingtoncountyar.gov
