SB615– Prohibiting Vaccine Passports in Arkansas – SUPPORT

By: Sen. Trent Garner (R – El Dorado)

This bill would prohibit any government actor from requiring a vaccine passport to be used for any purpose, including travel, education, or employment.

HB1765 – Prohibiting Fraud in Unemployment Insurance – SUPPORT

By: Rep. Robin Lundstrum (R – Elm Springs)

This good bill would crack down on unemployment fraud.  It would crosscheck enrollees in unemployment against new hire databases, integrity data hub database, and against prison databases.  It would allocate funding for the ongoing crackdown against fraud in the unemployment insurance program.

By: Rep. Delia Haak (R – Centerton)

This bad bill would allow a new exemption under the Freedom of Information law for sales tax data information that is reported to the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA).

By: Rep. David Ray (R – Maumelle)

This good bill would set up an automatic individual income tax refund to people who actually pay tax when the state has a surplus above $100 million.

HB1280 – Secret Meetings for Economic Development Projects – OPPOSE

By: Rep. Delia Haak (R – Centerton)

This bad bill would allow for secret meetings for cities to discuss economic development projects in an “executive session” rather than at regular city council or quorum court meetings.
