The initiative to shorten legislative term limits is missing the required signatures to appear on the November 6 ballot. To appear on the ballot, change-makers needed to submit 84,859 valid signatures for the initiated constitutional amendment.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported that Special Master Mark Hewett concluded that the proposal did not enough have valid signatures, with over 14,000 erroneous signatures in the final count.
Next, this finding will go before the Arkansas Supreme Court.
