There was an explosion at Esterline Defense Technologies on Tuesday, December 18. The Arkansas plant is located in East Camden.
The Arkansas Department of Emergency Management stated that the source of the explosion is unknown. The plant has reported that the situation is under control.
At least one person was injured in the explosion. The person was reportedly airlifted to a nearby hospital to be treated for burns. The condition of the injured in unknown.
Esterline Defense Technologies produces aerial expendable countermeasure flares.
