$400,000 Stolen From Springdale Church

An Arkansas woman has been accused of stealing more than $400,000 from the First Assembly of God church in Springdale.

A discrepancy in missing funds was discovered when the church board asked Andra Smith about the church’s monthly financial statements.

Smith has been arrested on the charges of Theft of Property on December 6, 2018.

The Pastor of First Assembly of God church, Keith Underhill, asked Smith for bank statements. Smith presented the pastor with a letter outlining her theft from the church over two years, stating that she had taken nearly $10,000.

A Certified Fraud Examiner, after a two month investigation, revealed that Smith had taken a total of $413,701.78.
