A bill filed by State Sen. Kim Hammer and State Rep. Robin Lundstrum would cut unemployment tax for Arkansas employers.
SB298 would reduce unemployment insurance tax paid by employers. The fund is currently overfunded for the benefits required.
This bill would allow employers to keep more money for investment in both the company and employers.
