The Washington County Quorum Court Committee passed a resolution Monday, July 28, to declare the county “Pro-Life.”
Justice of the Peace Patrick Deakins originally submitted the resolution to the Quorum Court after deciding that on a local level, work needed to be done to support state and national efforts to protect the unborn and to send a clear message of the county’s dedication to promote the sanctity of life.
The full quorum court will review the Pro-Life Resolution on Thursday, July 15.
