The Biden administration is pushing the radical left’s transgender agenda on school children. Biden is using the power of his federal agencies, including the US Department of Education and the US Department of Agriculture to force schools to comply with the radical left agenda on gender identity and transgender indoctrination.
The Biden administration adopted rules to mandate schools impose transgender indoctrination programs in schools without parents being informed or having a way to opt their child out. Boys who say they identify as girls would have to be included in women’s sports, girls’ bathrooms, locker rooms, housing accommodations. Also, girls who say they identify as boys would have access to all the boys’ facilities and teams.

Now more than ever Arkansas needs STRONG SCHOOL CHOICE LAWS to allow state education dollars to follow a child even if it is to a private school. Every family, regardless of income, needs the ability to move their children to another school, public, private, or homeschool. Also, teachers who are tired of the left controlling their schools need options for teaching jobs outside the government school plantation.
U.S. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION RULE
The Biden Administration is attempting to redefine biological sex to include “gender identity,” which would destroy the protections women have had under Title IX.
The U.S. Department of Education proposed rule is intended to force schools to indoctrinate children into gender identity theories. Under the rule, a school would not have to obtain parental consent before forcing “gender affirmation” programs on a child, and the school would not have to disclose to parents the child’s participation in the gender affirmation program. Even if parents found out and objected, the Biden administration would still require the school to keep the child in the program.
The proposed rule is an attack on parental rights. It goes against the intent of Title IX and is an attack on women’s sports. It would also negatively impact free speech and academic freedom.
Attorney General Leslie Rutledge and the attorneys general of sixteen other states have filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education concerning its proposed rule.
US DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND SCHOOL LUNCHES
The U.S. Department of Agriculture administers the National School Lunch Program under the Food and Nutrition Service to ensure that children do not attend school hungry.
Now the Biden administration is using the program as a weapon against schools that fail to adopt the new radical left guidance on gender identity and sexual orientation. The schools must adopt the policies or underprivileged children at the school will no longer get federal assistance for meals. In other words, submit to the radical left or kids will go hungry. In essence the Biden administration is using federal funds to take over schools.
The scope of this edict is huge. It applies to all schools that take advantage of the federal lunch and nutrition program to feed underprivileged children. That means both government schools and any private schools that take federal funds to feed underprivileged children.
Attorney General Leslie Rutledge joined twenty-two attorneys general in a lawsuit against this rule saying it violates federal law.
TIP OF THE ICEBERG
Even if challenges to the rules are successful, we think this is only the tip of the iceberg of the federal government’s effort to strip parents of parental rights and to impose radical left ideologies on school children.
Federal agencies pump a lot of money into schools through various programs; and the federal government will use the money to hold public schools (government schools) hostage to force them to adopt, not just transgender programs, but every crazy idea the radical left wants to impose. The left will continue to try to withhold funds from various school programs to impose its agenda; and if that doesn’t work, it will push new grants to get schools to voluntarily indoctrinate children.
The most important things right now are having an Attorney General who will defend parents against the left and for the next Governor and state legislature to pass school choice laws to give EVERY PARENT, REGARDLESS OF INCOME, the ability to enroll their child in any school public or private. Arizona did it, and so can we!
