The Republican Party of Arkansas’s Joint Congressional Meeting will host as their featured speaker U.S. Congressman Matt Gaetz on February 17, 2023. Gaetz is a lawyer and Congressman from Florida’s 1st Congressional District. He is recognized as a firebrand that has stood firm on many Conservative issues that few had the spine to publicly support. He was endorsed by President Donald J. Trump in 2022. In October 2023, Gaetz filed a motion to vacate which led to the removal of then Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy.
Doors open at 12:30pm at the Embassy Suites in Little Rock. The meeting convenes at 2pm. Conduit will present our Legislative Scorecard and our Follow-the-Money-Report before Gaetz takes the stage.
