The Arkansas Republican State Convention met on Saturday, June 8th in Rogers. It is the body within the RPA that has the final authority in all party matters. Several changes were made to the state party platform and the RPA rules. In addition to the passage of the submissions, a resolution previously submitted to the Platform Committee also passed. That resolution defines eligibility for service on the Rules committee.
Below, you will find a redline version showing the changes made to the document as well as a clean copy of the RPA Platform and Rules. We will also list the newly adopted Resolution.
These adopted platform and rules changes along with the resolution were sent Thursday, June 20, 2024, by the RPA State Convention Chair Jennifer Lancaster to RPA Chairman Joseph Wood and RPA Executive Director Seth Mays. These documents were then sent to Secretary of State John Thurston on Friday, June 21st.
