Brian Norris outlines election, audit priorities in secretary of state bid

“If people don’t trust the election process, then we need to give them confidence and ownership back in it.”

Republican Secretary of State candidate Bryan Norris told Conduit News he is running to restore trust in elections, citing his military background, involvement in petition efforts, and concerns about voter confidence and transparency.

Norris said he would support county election choices such as paper ballots, expand audits and oversight, address voter registration errors, reform the campaign finance filing system, reduce red tape for businesses, and improve Capitol facilities.

He also discussed election security, same-day voting, voter ID, and his statewide campaign efforts ahead of the March 3 primary. Early voting begins Tuesday, February 17.
