Arkansas Republican Primary Delivers Strong Night for CFC75-Endorsed Candidates

Submitted by CFC75

Fayetteville, AR — Arkansas voters delivered a decisive message in Tuesday night’s Republican Primary, handing victories to many candidates endorsed by Conduit Freedom Caucus 75 (CFC75) and advancing others to runoff elections.

Across multiple races, voters signaled a clear preference for candidates who emphasize limited government, transparency, and a stronger defense of Arkansas taxpayers and individual rights.

Several CFC75-endorsed candidates secured outright victories.

In the statewide judiciary race, Arkansas Supreme Court Justice Nick Bronni won election to Associate Justice, Position 3.

In the race for Arkansas Secretary of State, Bryan Norris advanced to a runoff election after finishing as the top candidate in the race.

In one of the most closely watched races of the cycle, Senator Bryan B. King won reelection in Senate District 28, defeating challenger Bobby Ballinger Jr., who had been endorsed by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Ballinger is the son of former State Senator Bob Ballinger, whom King also defeated for the seat in 2022.

State Representative Jeremy Wooldridge won the race for Senate District 21, defeating incumbent Senate Majority Leader Blake Johnson. Johnson also received public support from Governor Sanders during the race.

Meanwhile, several CFC75-endorsed candidates also won their races in the Arkansas House of Representatives.

Among them were Mark A. Nichols, who won House District 1, and State Representative Wayne Long, who secured reelection in House District 39. Incumbents Matt Duffield in House District 53 and Rep. Cameron Cooper in House District 57 also won their respective races. John Kyle Day won House District 94, defeating Rep. Jeff Wardlaw’s wife, Missy Wardlaw.

In House District 6, Cody Rogers advanced to a runoff election. These runoff elections are set for March 31st.

The results across these races point to a broader trend within Arkansas Republican primaries. In several contests where establishment-backed candidates faced opponents emphasizing government accountability, taxpayer protections, and limited government — including attempts to unseat incumbents — voters largely sided with those candidates.

Conduit Freedom Caucus 75 was created to identify and support candidates who align with principles of economic freedom, government accountability, and constitutional governance. The network spans all 75 Arkansas counties and focuses on Republican primaries, where many of the state’s most consequential races are decided.

Tuesday’s results reflect that many voters are looking for leaders who will challenge the growth of government, operate transparently, and prioritize taxpayers and individual liberty.
