Bobby Bones, Country Music radio host and current dancer on Dancing With The Stars, announced his intentions to run for Arkansas Governor in either 2022 or 2026.
Bobby Bones made this announcement to Fox News, following a performance on DWTS. Bones also announced a surprising link to Bill Clinton, stating that Bones’ grandmother was close with Clinton’s mother.
Bones is a native of Hot Springs, Arkansas. According to Fox News, Bones stated:
“I would love to be the governor of Arkansas. That’s my home state and I want to show people that it really doesn’t matter where you come from, it’s where you’re looking or where you’re going. I want to help people who grew up like I did and give people a chance with education …hopefully, [become] president.”
Bones is a registered independent.
