The first is a resolution to prevent employers from implementing COVID-19 vaccination mandates as a requirement for employment. The resolution also will:

The second is a resolution requesting a Health Freedom Patients’ Bill of Rights. As a result of the current world-wide pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus, the inalienable rights of health freedom and related individual choices belonging to each individual are under attack. This resolution states in part:

WHEREAS:  Healthcare guidelines issued by the federal government focus primarily on Covid-19 vaccines and not treatment of the disease;

WHEREAS:  The Covid-19 vaccinated, as well as the unvaccinated, are spreading the Covid-19 virus to others;

WHEREAS:  Pharmacists across the state of Arkansas are refusing to fill some Covid-19 related prescriptions regardless of the directive by the prescribing physician;

WHEREAS:  Monoclonal treatment for the treatment of Covid-19 is being rationed by the federal government;

WHEREAS:  Natural immunity provides immunity to Covid-19 which is currently going unrecognized in the workplace;

WHEREAS:  Rights of conscience against the Covid-19 vaccines held by employees are being ignored across the state by their employer;

WHEREAS:  Arkansans are being coerced to take the Covid-19 vaccine without giving informed consent;

WHEREAS:  Some employers, implementing Covid-19 vaccine mandates as a condition of employment, are challenging their employees’ written statements given to obtain religious and medical exemptions, claiming these are not sincerely held beliefs or medical conditions qualifying for legally recognized exemptions;

WHEREAS:  Within workplaces across the state of Arkansas, private employers are experiencing employees fully vaccinated for Covid-19 contracting Covid-19 as well as spreading the Covid-19 virus to others whether or not vaccinated;

WHEREAS:  Regardless of the sources of the spread of the Covid-19 virus, some employers across Arkansas continue to act in a discriminating and harassing way against their unvaccinated employees.

Members of the Washington County Republican Committee request that immediate action is taken on these issues due to the attack on the constitutional rights of all citizens of Arkansas by the President. The committee challenges others to stand up to the federal overreach of the Biden administration and stand strong for all Arkansans.
