Harris & Attorney Discuss Election Contest Complaint Filed in HD25 Race

Jody Harris and her attorney Clint Lancaster discuss their election contest complaint surrounding the results of the Arkansas House of Representatives District 25 Republican Primary race.

Harris, a Republican Primary Candidate for Arkansas House of Representatives District 25, originally filed the complaint against the Crawford County Board of Election Commissioners Bill Coleman, Mike Moxley, and Memory Boucher; and opponent Chad Puryear, on Tuesday, June 14.

“I would hope that whether you’re a Democrat or a Republican, that you would want to see fairness and transparency in all of our elections here in Arkansas,” Harris says.

Harris is asking the circuit court to decertify the Crawford County results. And it’s important because if our elections are not fair and do not appear to be fair, this notion of a republic, if you can keep it, is gone,” says Attorney Clint Lancaster.

The court date is set for Friday, July 15, in Franklin County.
