Arkansas State Senator Bryan King (R – 28) talks about the two bills he recently filed ahead of session. King also tells us that he intends to propose two rules changes that would affect how bills are handled on the Senate floor and in committees.
King also discusses upcoming priorities for the session — he says education, tax cuts, and prison reform will be top of mind. King says, tho, that Hutchinson and other Republicans should be held accountable for not doing enough over the past several years regarding the crime crisis.
“There is nobody to blame for the crime crisis other than Governor Hutchison and a bunch of Republicans down there that failed to budget for it,” King says.
