NEW >>> Follow-the-Money-Report Detailing the 2022 AR Republican Primaries

Conduit for Commerce released a Follow-the-Money-Report today detailing fundraising during the 2022 Arkansas Republican primaries. From their executive summary:

“2022 Republican Primaries Executive Summary Arkansas is certainly “red” in numbers with more than 80% of its state House and state Senate being Republican, not to mention all seven Constitutional officers. This Republican dominance has been steadily increasing each election cycle since 2010. But if you examine Arkansas’ economic policies, you may ask—”where is the ‘red’” and “why all the ‘blue?’” When you follow campaign money you may start to gain insight into the answers to these questions. It is our hope that this FTMR (and those from prior years) will start or continue that discovery process for you. After all—we believe,

“Knowledge is Power!”

Insights from the Report:
#1: First place to change state policy is in the Republican primary.
#2. The fewer incumbents running for re-election, the greater chance new policies will be a reality.
#3. As many are beginning to recognize, it is at the state level where we keep or lose our freedoms.

This report shows that special interests (for financial gain or policy changes); Republican party groups; Democrats; and other proponents of big government or social change (such as Common Ground, the 3rd generation Waltons, or the State Chamber of Commerce) are all actively involved in the Republican Primary!

The report dives into the giving from these special interest groups highlighting their impact on these races.

From the takeaways section, Conduit for Commerce says:

“If you want to know which way the political winds are blowing, it helps to know which way the campaign cash is flowing. By tracking the funding of Republican primaries in 2022, Conduit for Commerce presents this comprehensive report to educate on who has the greatest influence on government policies in the state of Arkansas.

What to Look For: For the third election cycle in a row, Conduit for Commerce, Inc. selects a few races which seem to epitomize where economic policy is crafted in our state. When reviewing these numbers, it is hoped that we will all learn a lot about our government, those we legally sanction to interact with our elected officials, and ourselves as we get involved in these campaigns with time and resources –or refuse to do so.”

Conduit for Commerce educates on the benefits of economic freedom, individual liberty, and limited government in Arkansas.
