Congratulations to Joseph K. Wood who was selected as the new Chairman of the Republican Party of Arkansas. Joseph succeeds Cody Hiland, who was appointed to the Arkansas Supreme Court.
Joseph has experience in both state and local government and as a Republican candidate at both the state and local level.
Earlier this year, Joseph Wood was appointed as the Secretary of the Department of Transformation and Shared Services by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Prior to the appointment, he served two terms as Washington County Judge. His other state service includes being Deputy Secretary of State.
His campaign experience includes successful campaigns in 2016 and 2018 for Washington County Judge and a campaign for Lieutenant Governor in 2022.
Wood also brings a strong business background and a record of community service.
