The Washington County Quorum Court will consider a proposed 2024 planning and zoning ordinance, titled “The Freedom and Property Preservation Zoning Act of Washington County.” However, some county residents question whether or not the title is accurate, but instead, ask if this new zoning act will do the opposite of what it claims: limit and take away some property rights.
