MANDATORY CV19 VACCINES IN ARKANSAS? WHAT HAPPENED TO HOUSE BILL 1547? ARKANSAS SWAMP POLITICS – GOVERNMENT BY DECEPTION

By: C. Stafford, Reopen Arkansas

Most Arkansans are likely soon to be mandated to take the still-in-trials Covid 19 vaccines if the Marble Palace in Little Rock gets their way – and they’re about to.  That mandate won’t come directly from government though.  That’s illegal at this point.  It will come from private sector businesses who the government has tacitly encouraged to implement the mandate by making the vaccine a condition of employment, admission, air-travel, and in whatever other various manners they can think of.

House Bill 1547 will be heard and likely decided by the House Public Health Committee, and the full legislature this week or early next, and it green-lights mandatory vaccines by the private sector.    There are many in Arkansas who can’t or shouldn’t take the trial vaccine for a variety of reasons, such as medical contraindications, or religious or ethical objections.  Many remain concerned about the, as yet unknown, long-term risk and health consequences, and believe they should have control of their bodily autonomy and health choices, and informed choice in taking the vaccine.  These Arkansans were going to be protected by HB1547 – not any longer. The Arkansas legislature has spent four weeks doing their best to maim or kill HB1547, leaving Arkansans with no protection from mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations which are not yet FDA approved.

SB 1547 by State Representative Robin Lundstrum started its legislative life as an outstanding pro medical freedom and choice bill.  It was arguably one of the most important bills for citizens’ medical rights and protections of the current legislative session.   It protected students and employees from mandatory Covid-19 vaccines still in trial stages, and authorized by the FDA only under emergency use authorization conditions.   It was a bill all supporters of individual rights and basic freedom of medical choice could support.   It enjoyed wide support with a whopping 45 legislator primary or co-sponsors.   There was little in the bill not to like.  It gave people CHOICE in the decision to take or not to take a new, barely out of brief initial trials, vaccine.  Then on March 15th, 2021, it ran into this session’s liberty killing buzz-saw, the House Public Health Committee.

Since that time, the name of the bill and its stated purpose have changed significantly.   The title revisions tell the story.  It was originally titled: “AN ACT TO PROHIBIT MANDATORY CORONAVIRUS 2019 (COVID-12 19) IMMUNIZATIONS OR VACCINATIONS FOR STUDENTS AND EMPLOYEES; TO PROHIBIT A REQUIREMENT FOR A VACCINATION OR IMMUNIZATION FOR CORONAVIRUS 2019.”

In the course of committee hearings, it then changed to:  “AN ACT TO GOVERN MANDATORY CORONAVIRUS 2019 (COVID-12 19) IMMUNIZATIONS OR VACCINATIONS FOR STUDENTS AND  EMPLOYEES; TO GOVERN REQUIREMENTS FOR A VACCINATION  OR IMMUNIZATION FOR CORONAVIRUS 2019.”

Lastly and most recently, it has morphed into:  “AN ACT TO PROHIBIT THE STATE FROM MANDATING A VACCINE OR IMMUNIZATION FOR CORONAVIRUS 2019 (COVID-19); TO GOVERN REQUIREMENTS FOR A VACCINE.”     You can read the original bill and its many revisions here.

You see what they did there?  Now instead of protecting citizens and prohibiting mandatory involuntary Covid-19 vaccinations, big government and special interests have reared their ugly Arkansas political heads, leaving citizens, workers and students out in the cold.   A pro-choice bill protecting basic human rights, as delineated in the Nuremberg Code, became more of a big-brother, big-government bill, to govern Arkansas citizens and tacitly green-light mandating of the trial vaccine.  The pro-freedom bill that over 1/3rd of the legislature initially signed on to as sponsor, that came under attack in the committee process, has now been neutered so as to be useless to most all Arkansas citizens.   Your state legislature has done that by favoring political and special interests over the interests of the citizens they supposedly represent.

From the first committee reading of SB1547, which protected parental rights, children’s rights, and employee rights alike, special interests and establishment politics aligned their sights on the bill.  The protections decreed in the initial bill were all but eliminated through special interests and establishment politics interjecting themselves into the bill.    Whereas the bill initially prohibited coercion of a student or employee to take the Covid-19 vaccination, it is now all but welcomed under the guise of “incentives”.  The original bill protected employees from mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations and expressly prohibited Arkansas employers from requiring Covid-19 vaccination as a condition of employment.  Those employee protections were completely eliminated – entirely!

Special interests appear to have taken a bill written and designed to protect citizen’s rights to medical freedom and individual choice and turned it into a bill that is nearly unrecognizable from its original form, and purpose.   This suggests special interests and establishment politics, not the interests of Arkansas citizens, drive and control the Arkansas Legislature – certainly the House Public Health Committee.

The Arkansas Governor just last week openly called for private corporate businesses to mandate the vaccine, while the SB1547 remained under attack in the House Public Health Committee.   Coincidence?    The Governor’s action places him in the position of appearing to attempt to carry out what would be an illegal government vaccine mandate, using an experimental vaccine that has never been tried or FDA approved for use in humans, by encouraging corporate big business to do the government desired vaccine mandate for them.

Why do you think the government hasn’t itself mandated the Covid 19 vaccine?  Because it’s already illegal for them to!  Under current federal law, only FDA approved vaccines may be considered for mandatory use.  What the state legislature now attempts to do by the current version of this bill is provide political cover for the mandating of the trial Covid 19 vaccine by private businesses and corporate America, on behalf of government.   Because it’s illegal for the government to mandate the vaccine, the government’s work-around became: “let’s get our private sector partner, corporate America, to do the heavy lifting by having the private sector require the vaccine.”

Arkansas citizens should not have their medical freedom of choice, and potentially their health, placed at risk due to politics and special interests.  Equally important, no one should have to choose between their livelihood and a coerced injection that hasn’t yet completed trials, and is already or on course to break vaccination-associated death and serious adverse reaction records – even while an estimated 98 percent of the adverse reactions likely go unreported to the national tracking system.

Is the Arkansas legislature really going to allow the special interests of Big Government and Big Pharma to place Arkansans at risk from a vaccination of as yet unknown or fully undetermined risk for a virus which 60% never know they have, only about 5 percent have serious symptoms, and roughly 99.4 percent fully recover from?   Are they going to stand idly by while the Governor and his administration openly calls for the private sector to implement a mandatory vaccine campaign, while providing them political cover from vaccine harm and liability?

ACTION CALL:   What can YOU do?  SB1547 will be heard again soon in the House Public Health Committee, contact them HERE – TELL THEM TO AMEND HB1547 TO MAKE IT ILLEGAL FOR GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATE BUSINESSES TO MANDATE THE NON-FDA APPROVED, TRIAL COVID 19 VACCINE AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT OR EDUCATION.

THEN, CALL AND WRITE YOUR STATE (not Federal) SENATORS AND REPRESENTATIVES (you can find them HERE and HERE) AND TELL THEM TO BAR GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATE BUSINESSES FROM MANDATING THE TRIAL COVID 19 VACCINE AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION, ADMISSION, OR TRAVEL.
