The 92nd General Assembly began Monday, and for the first time the House Speaker appointed all committee assignments, including chairs and vice chairs. Rep. Mathew Shepherd (R-El Dorado) will serve as the house speaker and has released his committee assignments for the 92nd General Assembly.

House committees have 20 members, with a Chairperson and Vice-Chair.
Rep. Joe Jett (R-Success) will return as Chair of perhaps the most powerful committee – Revenue and Taxation.
