Healthcare and Educational Leaders Met to Stop Tobacco Use in Arkansas

A spokesperson for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network stated that the intention is to introduce legislation which would restrict the legal age to purchase tobacco across the state.

The adult smoking rate in Arkansas ranks third in the nation, according to the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network. In addition, Arkansas leads the nation with the second highest smoking-related cancer deaths.
