Arkansas’ Alcoholic Beverage Control board voted 3-2 to revoke the liquor license of a popular nightclub in Hot Springs, Boot Scooters Kountry Club.
This vote follows the Oct. 10th decision of the Director of the board to revoke the license of the Boot Scoots Kountry Club. The late-night country club was one of the few in the state with a permit to remain open until 5 A.M.
The license was revoked following multiple citations for serving alcohol to minors, selling alcohol to intoxicated patrons, and excessive force by security personnel.
The permit saw suspension on September 25th, after more violations despite the fact that the Boot Scooters Kountry Club operators assured the board that safety measures had been implemented.
